Promote your business, service, event, promotions, sale item, activities and/or information of interest. The Expat Newsletter is now produced weekly. There are some concessions for new initiatives/businesses.
From March 14th 2012 the Expats Newsletter wll no longer appear online.
Additional support with the newsletter is now being provided through Chris at Eclipse Online Solutions. Chris will also be dealing with Marketing and link enquiries too.
The newsletter is for people living or working on the islands who wish to promote an event or activity (in English). It is also for people within Cape Verde and abroad to be able to subscibe to receive the newsleter by email. It is not just for 'Expats'.
Individuals or business will now be
able to promote their service/business for free the first time for one week
within the Expats Newsletter. Thereafter the
service/business may not be able to promote free of charge but can
consider making a payment for advertising on the newsletter and/or advertising annually in the Yellow Pages section, see : Advertising information.
If
you are selling/looking for personal items for yourself or belongings this can be advertised for free. Currently we are not directing users via a link to eBay, social network websites etc within the newsletter advert, but you can use a lnk to your website via our Yellow Services for small businesses.
The newsletter will exclude property sales and also requests for 'looking for ....../..... bed property for sale. No similar adverts will be included in the newsletter. The only individual property that will appear is via links to Cape Verde Tips Property or to other sections supported on our websites and to Real Estate Agencies/Developers who have advertised for fixed periods.

Any information you wish to include in the newsletter must be sent in to us to check content. We reserve the right to amend any comments that may be insulting or other, or disregard them.
All announcements/promotions/events: text only, lower case, font size 12. Images should be jpeg or gif, maximum 500 x 500.
All text information should be sent in at least 24hrs before the newsletter issue date. The subject title for the email should be clearly identified as : ....For Newsletter ..... and sent with your text to:
info@expatscapeverde.com
If the subject heading or email address given above are not used, your insert request may be missed.
Remember to include:
Name of event/activity - date/venue/start time/finish time/contact person/contact telephone/confirmation required/booking required/contact email address, text and image.
