On Tuesday 1st March 2011, 'Agua Fresca-Cape Verde' kindly donated a water filtration system to the local infants school in Santa Maria. The system was placed in the kitchen area of the school and will ensure the local children are free to drink clean, safe water whilst at school.

Mark Boustead, the owner of the company said 'it's essential the local children are able to drink safe filtered water, and at Agua Fresca we will assist the local schools wherever possible'.

The headmaster was delighted with the gift which ensures links between the local and ex pat community.

The photo above was taken in Santa Maria on 12th July 2009, demonstrating the effectiveness of Agua Fresca's water filters.
