Put flour margarine & salt in a bowl rub together until it looks like breadcrumbs. Gradually add water until all mixed (approx 100ml) roll out pastry to fit all of baking tin (ungreased). Prick the base with a folk several times. Bake in oven gas no. 5 (190c or 375f) for 15 mins. in the middle of oven. Whisk together the eggs and milk. When pastry cooked cover with cheese and pour eggs/milk over the top. Return to oven and continue to bake for 15-20 mins until eggs set and browned.
250g Chick Peas
2 Cloves Garlic
3 Tblsp Olive Oil
2 Tblsp Chick Pea Juice
Chilli to taste
Salt to taste
Put all ingredients into a blender and whisk until smooth.
If no blender use elbow grease, no you can't buy elbow grease in the shop, its just the process of mashing and whisking the ingredients into a paste.
You can make your own tasty humous by adding curry powder, bbq sauce, olives, onions,cucumber etc.whatever ingredients you prefer. Why not provide two different flavour humous dips for snacks.
110g Cheese
4 Spring Onions or 1 Onion
175g Potato
Thyme or Oregano
175g Flour
¼ Teasp Baking Powder
1 Teasp Salt
¼ Teasp Cayenne Pepper
1 Egg
1 Tblsp Milk
1 Teasp Mustard
Heat oven to gas mark 5, 190c or 375f.
Cube cheese, grate potato, slice onions. Add 2/3 cheese to all other ingredients, mix together roughly. Place onto greased baking tray in a round shape, sprinkle flour over top along with rest of the cheese. Bake until golden brown 45-50 mins.
