The Vets Team for the Sterilization Campaigne will come back to Sal in January 2012, around the 10th, for a 5 days work in Santa Maria and a 5 days work in Espargos.
As usual, the sterilization will be completely gratis for cats/dogs owned by capeverdeans and also for stray animals. Each animal sterilized will be given free treatment against flies, ticks, worms — and mange if needed. Animals owned by europeans will be asked to help pay towards the medication used (2500 CVE male, 3000 CVE female).Any donation, in money or goods, is very welcome. if you want to help, volonteers are really welcome, even for few hours, each of us can make a big difference! If you know anyone coming to Sal, will be great to get some medications from abroad. When locations and time schedules will be defined, we will send you a poster with all the information.
