Turtle Odyssey
To celebrate World Day for Nature Conservation SOS Tartarugas is delighted to present the exhibition “Turtle Odyssey”.
These beautifully shot photographs depict the story of the turtle’s struggle for survival in Cabo Verde.
The display will be at the Cultural Centre in Santa Maria until the 5th August and then in the Library in Espargos from the 16th to the 22nd August.
Turtle Walks and Patrols
Our turtle walks programme is up and running after a long wait for the turtles to arrive. Walks are held every night from 20h30 until around 23h00 and cost €20 (discounted rates apply for residents).
Bookings can be made by email info@turtlesos.org or phone 974 5019
For a more authentic ranger experience you are welcome to join us any night on our regular patrols. These are from 21h until 01h and are free of charge. You need to have a reasonable level of fitness and be able to walk on soft sand.
Choose your night and contact us by email info@turtlesos erektile-apotheke.de/.org or phone 974 5020
We also have a permanent camp at Serra Negra which you are welcome to visit. Serra Negra is a beautiful isolated beach with the highest number of turtles so far this season. You can join us for the evening or you can stay overnight. There is no cost but you have to pay your own transport costs (€10 each way). Below, photo of camp.
